Read any self development blog (including mine before this blog) and there are great chances that you will find article about planing. Almost all are written as you never create any plan before, and yet you make plans all the time:

  • When your spouse tell you: “Honey my parents will tomorrow came to dinner.” You think: “Oh what a dull evening.” – Yes you make plan about dull evening.
  • When you think: “Hooray it’s Friday, after work I have all weekend to rest.” – Yes you make plan about dull work and weekend of doing nothing.

So instead of trying to make perfect plan that will move you toward any goal you have in life start first with noble art of not planning. Why because starting to make your plans is just adding good habit without removing bad habit – ineffective.

Try it for a month. Whenever you catch yourself that you make plans of have dull time, of doing nothing, of being bored, annoyed or anything negative just notice that and gently remove your thought or if you can replace it with some more productive thought.

After month you will have brain in good shape for doing productive plans that will make you happy.
